FOX
F11-951 - 8" PILLAR DRILL
The Fox Tools
F11-951 pillar drill is the result of an extensive redesign
programme. Steering away from conventional designs, Fox have launched
a highly refined, exceptionally functional machine. With a powerful
300W motor, five running speeds from 580 up to 2650RPM, drilling
depth micro-adjustment via a conveniently positioned thumbwheel, a
cast iron table that both tilts to 45° and swivels through
360°, as well as featuring adjustable extension wings, the
F11-951 will prove an extremely versatile companion in the workshop.
A 13mm engineering keyless chuck utilises the industry standard morse
taper two (MT2) system and can be simply removed for the use of
tapered shank drill bits. In preference to the stereotype light steel
bar handwheel so commonly used for drill depth regulation, Fox have
opted for a robust cast wheel with three large knobs offering optimum
control and smooth, judderless feeds. Additional features include an
integral drill storage tray in the cast base, a laser light and an
extendible chuck guard.
