If workshop space, budget or mobility are major
considerations when choosing a sawbench you can still find the right
partner for all your projects. Although it is portable, the scheppach
tku is totally stable and designed to complete a host of woodworking
operations. Ripping, crosscutting, angles, compound angles, grooving,
rebating, and even comb jointing are all possible with the tku. The
generous dimensions of the galvanised saw table are even more
enhanced by the standard table length extension. A folding panel
cutting attachment with parallel fence is available as an accessory.
A conveniently positioned hand wheel allows quick and
precise adjustment of the cutting height. The sawblade can also tilt
up to 45 degrees. The scheppach tku rip fence is particular
importance. Sawbenches of this type usually fall down by being
supplied with a rip fence that is subject to wavering, especially
under pressure. The tku fence is locked instantly with an eccentric
clamp and the possibility of any fence movement is eliminated. It
also has two operational modes for deep or low work pieces.

Safety is also an integral part of the scheppach
tku sawbench. When switched off the motor brake brings the
sawblade to a standstill in seconds . The crown guard protects the
cutting point and can be lowered to cover the blade when switched
off. The lower sawblade guard under the table makes it impossible to
touch the sawblade. A mitre attachment or sliding table carriage is
available as an accessory and must be fitted to comply with accident
prevention regulations for crosscutting operations. |
